On Tuesday, May 9, the fan-favorite Variety Show took place at Circle High School. Students performed many different solo’s, duets, and full choirs that showed off what they have been working on for the past month.

Bella Baumgartel, 10, auditioned for the show and made the cut.

“During auditions I felt really nervous,” she said. After not singing for three years Bella wanted to try it again and sing “Scars to Your Beautiful” by Alessia Cara. During the show, Bella says that she was shaking the whole time because she was so nervous but the whole time the crowd was singing along with her.

Cassidy Nolan, another sophomore at CHS, had a solo for treble chorus towards the end of the show. Although she was nervous she had a lot of fun singing with the chorus.

“It was fun singing with the other girls. With all of the blend and Harmony it made it sound really good,” Nolan said.
