In the 2017 Circle High volleyball season, there are many things to looking forward to. After an excellent season last year, this upcoming season will be even more of an excitement. With there being a whole new mix of varsity players, the team is already looking take the next step towards a title. The players confidence is rising, along with their charisma and excitement to play.

“I’m excited to play this season because it is my senior year, my last season and I think we are going to be better this year. Everyone is willing to hustle and everyone is pretty aggressive.” Camron Perry,12, said.

With the season already underway, the lady T-Birds won against El Dorado 2-0 on Tuesday at their opener. Even though they had a close loss to Rose Hill before, they didn’t let that bring them down and pushed through to defeat El Dorado.

“Everyone this year has good chemistry amongst each other. Last year, I don’t feel like the players had really good chemistry like we do this year. It helps us work beside each other and play better together overall.“ Alicia Banuelos, 11, said.

With hopes of having one of the best season in recent history, the Lady Thunderbirds are hard at practice every day. They push each other to do better, reach for their goals individually and, as a team, never give up.

“I think that we all work really good together. If we work really hard at practice like we have been, it could be an amazing season.” Cadi Stephens, 10, said.
